I have been to most of Rod's local concerts and don't know that I have missed any as long as it was in Columbus, Riverbend, Cinn, and surrounding areas. He is my favorite singer, the "BEST." I liked it when he came into the crowd and suggested we could come up to the stage to take pictures; I have never seen him do this at any of his concerts before. My wish is to be on the floor and close to the stage before my time is up. I also liked when he introduced his family; I thought that was awesome. I didn't bring my camera to take pictures because I never thought that they would not allow us to bring them into the show. "Shame on me," cause that was the first time I could have made it to the stage to take pictures.
Late, late, late
I love the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas performance, but the concert did not start on time. The show was incomplete as she did not finish her set. The venue turned off her mic and lights at 11:00, which ended the performance abruptly. We waited for 2 extra hours before the opening acts began. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas took the stage around 10:00, delivering a great performance. The concert was cut short due to the city's laws that performances must end by 11:00. Despite paying nearly 200.00 for tickets, we only saw her for a short time. It was not the venue's fault that she started late. The experience was disappointing, even though I love Mannheim Steamroller Christmas.
The Boss's still got it!
As always, the crowd passed forward a "X-mas tree-shaped" sign decorated with twinkling battery operated lights and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas went crazy! The E-Street Band is by far ....the MOST TALENTED GROUP OF MUSICIANS ever and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas combined with them delivers the performance that makes the industry proud! Playing thru the Born to Run album was also a huge hit as was the entire night filled with non-stop classics he never seems to tire of ! Yes, he still has , after all these years and willingly plays it to his fans, giving the crowd what they want .....and MORE! The Rising Album favorites from 9-11 are well done and move the crowd in a dynamic way. My favorite was his "Santa Claus is coming to Town" rendition with Clarence, Santa hat and all. He is one of the best ever! Like no other! And no one ever will be! As usual he took "sign" requests from the crowd.

A comedian opened for Mannheim Steamroller Christmas at 8pm show, but he wasn't very good and lasted over an hour. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas finally got on stage at 9:30, and it was well worth the wait once they did! They apologized for the wait outside in the cold and mentioned they read Twitter. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas performed all new material and stayed on stage almost 2 hours past their time. The building was very beautiful, with friendly, helpful people and very good seats. Ample parking was available across the street for a fee and down the block. We were fortunate to find a free spot on the street outside the venue. Will definitely go there again!
Parking disaster
This time, our group rents a bus to avoid all the car traffic but we were forced to park in the back, the farthest from exits and gates for some reason. Usually, we arrive early and usually get to park close to the exit, but cars were parked with the busses this time. Cars were in the bus lane, which made entry very slow. The bus lane was not patrolled and kept for busses only for the exit, and it took us 2 hours to get out of the lot. I don't think the parking attendees had a clue.
